“Yvonne Koolmatrie: Practicing Culture”
- Argues that Yvonne Koolmatrie and other Aboriginal artists specializing in traditional forms of weaving are forging a new future for their art form that is owned and interpreted by the female voice, and that by re-framing how we look at these and other artworks by female artists, we can more fully appreciate their contribution to the history of art and to society as a whole.
